Hug from Dave - Memory Quilt
I wanted to make a quilt for a dear friend of mine who had recently been widowed. I asked for some of his shirts thinking she would give me his T-shirts and some special event polo shirts. Instead she gave his dress shirts so I had to rethink what kind of quilt I would make before I tackled the stack of shirts. It was an interesting journey remembering my friend and her husband as I worked my way through the quilt making process...and one of the most cherished quilts I’ve ever given.

This quilt can also be used with those shirts your husband or son loves and just won’t stop wearing even if the collar or cuff is getting worn! Surprise them with something you know they will love!
Elizabeth’s Fat Quarter Quilt
A new quilting friend had received a stack of fat quarters for her birthday and asked me if I had any ideas what she could do with them. I gave her my stack of quilting books dealing with fat quarters. She couldn’t find one she liked. So I designed this quilt with the new quilter in mind; but I enjoyed making it as a themed fabric quilt and also look forward to using it when I have fabric I really love and don’t want to cut into tiny pieces!
The pattern has 4 different sized quilts and has the fabric amounts using fat quarters OR off the bolt yardage!

The Sisters Quilts
My sister and I each live on the coast; the only problem is one is the East Coast and the other is the West Coast! So when we get together there usually isn’t enough time to sew anything complicated. We both love fabric and making quilts for others so one time we worked on making a quilt for a favorite Aunt. We had so much fun choosing the fabrics that we had enough left over to each make a quilt for ourselves, too. Thus this easy, fast quilt was dubbed the ‘Sisters Quilt’. Sometime later I made a smaller version for a baby charity quilt and the ‘Little Sisters Quilt’ was born. I love getting these quilts in the studio to longarm...they can be plain or fancy in the fabrics and quilted to match! So if you need a quilt for a quick gift, you’ve found the pattern! Both sizes come at this great price!
